I'm so damned tired of the winter
I know I'm not alone. I've never been this tired of snow and cold before, but I've had my fill of it. I'm done with the snow, the freezing rain, the bitter rip-off-your-clothes-it's-so-freakin'-strong wind.... I'm just done with it.
I know I should be looking forward to the change in seasons, but when the weather service just keeps issuing Winter Storm Watches and Winter Weather Advisories, it's tough to remain optimistic. But I'm trying. My wife and I started some seeds in the house this past weekend (not the weekend we just finished, the one before), and we're starting to see some sprouts emerge from the dirt. It's nice to see something green... and for once it isn't mold on something we've left in the 'fridge too long.
