Howdy
I don't know why, but I find myself saying using that greeting much more than I should. It's kind of a silly word, don't you think? I try not to say it, but invariably I'll say it at least once a day.
Actually, I find myself saying all kinds of words and phrases that I wouldn't normally think I'd say. Like "alrighty", "okie-doke", and my all time favorite "sure, no problem". That last one frequently gets me in trouble, or at least takes me away from what I'm supposed to be doing at the time. I guess it could be worse, though. I could start using funny little sayings like they do in the south. Think Dan Rather or your goofy southern aunt here. You know the stuff I'm talking about here. Annoying little phrases like "you're a cute as a junebug", "you're the bee's knees", and "courage". (I suppose that wasn't really fair to Dan Rather. I'm sure he doesn't read my blog, but just in case he does I want to let it be known that I'm a big fan of his work on HDNet.)
Aside from all of this, I should point out that the Website Development Department at News-Talk 1480 WHBC is aware of a problem with our website. Please have patience, it will be fixed.
