Tired of politics as usual??

If you're like me (which you probably aren't, unless you're 6 feet tall weigh far too much, and share my interests) you're probably tired of the long drawn out primary season.

And if you're like me, you don't particularly care for any of the options remaining, Democrat or Republican.

SO, Tom Jarrett and I are starting a campaign to draft a candidate that is right for America. Someone that is going to actually represent the average American. Someone that will always at least appear busy.

We feel that someone is George Costanza. I know, I know. He's a fictional character, but then again, so is george W. Bush. Kramer could even be his running mate (running mate, NOT presidential candidate.... he's just an eensy bit racist, which could turn voters off)

What do you think? Would you vote for George Costanza over John McCain, Hillary Clinton, or Barack Obama?

When companies apologize

I love when companies have to apologize... especially when I can get something out of it. I am cheap. There, I said it. I'm cheap, and I love a deal. Which is part opf the reason why I love what Papa Johns is doing tomorrow. 23 cent pizzas! Sign me up!

Papa Johns is apologizing because some DC area store managers decided to band together and print shirts that read "Crybaby" with the number 23 on the back. Low blow? Maybe. Tasty apology? You bet!

Trying something new

My wife and I got married in Vermont almost a year ago. While there, we fell in love with the idea of eating locally produced food. It's a very fashionable thing up there, it seems.

So, we're looking at the 100 Mile Diet, and this year for the first time ever, we're going to try to grow some vegetables in our little garden space. This is where you come in: I need some tips. I've never done this, so if you've grown a vegetable garden, tell me what you've grown and some tips on how to grow my own vegetables. If you have any tips, or if you think I'm wasting my time, let me know in the comments section below.

That damn weather man

He's forecasting SNOW on Monday. SNOW! Freakin' SNOW! I'm so tired of this crappy weather. It's time for sun and 70's every day. Not just a tease like this last week has been.

No sense complaining, though, huh? It's not like we can change the weather... or can we?? (DANGER: That's a link to some moonbat blog. Also, just so you know, I don't believe any of that conspiratorial clap trap about the government altering the weather.)

I've received a ton of recommendations about where Jim and I should dine next. I'll have to talk with him to see where he'd like to go. I'll let you know next time.
